This is a spur of the moment 'whiffs'. While I was building the Airfix 1/48 Tiger moth, I found that it looked quite good as a monoplane. I'm no aircraft engineer. I wondered if biplane existed was because of the engines back then were not powerful enough to generate the lift required by a single wing. Hence I imagined a more powerful engine with six blades propeller could do the trick  ;). The paint scheme is a node to the RAAF ARDU.

In the RW ..dunno  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Looks good to me!
I just suspect that the 6-blade prop might be overkill

Fanta can mono-moth.  Very good.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

It's got an almost steampunk feel.
Whatever.

That looks  really good.

DH built the Moth Minor low wing monoplane to replace the biplane Moths, and it actually had LESS power than the biplanes. Production was switched to Australia during WWII, so your Whiff has considerable credibility.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Wow! Didn't even know this exists! Thanks for the link.

The Wooksta!

There's was also the Moth Coupe, which looks a bit like an early Chipmunk. Dujin did a resin kit of it years ago.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Looks very reminiscent of the original DH71 Tiger Moth, even more so the unamed DH 77.

The multi bladed propellor just does not work for me, but overall I do like it.
