Looks fine to me

+1

But maybe add a line about where your Iowa fits in?

I'll try to fit something in somewhere. I was thinking probably in the 1994-1996 timeframe. Though maybe closer to '96.
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

I once wrote a DANFS-style entry for the fictional USS Hudson City, AON 5, a semi-sister of NS Savannah.  She was launched on 1 April 1962 and decommissioned on 1 April 13 years later, having served quietly with the more famous early nuclear-powered surface ships.
Then I posted it on a nautical history email group - back before there was a web - and managed to fool a few people, with the mischievous aid of a few others on the list.
My point is, write that history, perhaps base it on the real history of one of the Iowa class, and put it out there.  You'll entertain some people, confuse others, and annoy those who deserve to be annoyed.

Well, looks like all systems are go for next year.  I talked to one of the organizers of this year's contest when I went up this past weekend and he said I should be able to enter my Wisconsin model. I think the key words in the rules document are the following:

Quote"historical account on the actual ship or type of vessel the model represents"

So........I could probably write up some sort of fictional history based on the 2021 film "Godzilla vs. Kong" where the ship (Although it was never mentioned what name it had.) was very briefly seen in that movie. Not much of the ship was seen due to lots of explosions and water splashes, but the below image is the best I could find from the Internet and it's very difficult to make out any details.

Good! The less detailed the reference images &/or descriptions, the more freedom with the build!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
