Armed Arktika class

Will die without understanding this world.

Great!  I always thought an IOWA class battleship would look great with an icebreaking hull- has the horsepower!

In these ideas I am mating Airfix 1/600 Moskva and Heller 1/400 Lenin. So a kind of scaleorama.

As what I like the most in Moskva is funnel, resulting projects must be powered by conventional means.

1. Civil icebreaker powered by steam turbine
2. Militar icebreaker equipped with anti-aircraf weapons
3. Militar icebreaker equipped with anti-aircraf and anti-submarine weapons

There are probably errors in armament ... never mind! My aim is aesthetics and coolness

Gas turbine propulsion using Kuznetsov NK-12 based marine engines driving ducted propulsors, and Zvezda M503 42-cylinder radial diesels driving retractable Voith Schneider cycloidal propellers for maneuverability.

How about an icebreaking Kirov battlecruiser?

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.
