Sea Hunter (Shunter ?) of the Schweizer kaiserliche Marine

I had a beautifully dirty idea  for a loong time,  and this is the moment to present at least a part of it.
If my mojo turns back to plastic modelling, MAYBE I'll be even able to build an  Hunter.
This is the story skeleton:

THE SWISS EMPIRE   

At the end of WW2, Europe was in shambles, industries destroyed, displaced persons by the millions etc, as everybody knows.
ONLY Switzerland was rich and happy. Her banks were filled with gold from every origin. (See: Swiss, the Gold and the Dead by Jean Ziegler).
And the swiss were tired of being considered only the inventors of Cuckoo clocks and Toblerone.
General Guisan, head of the swiss army during the war, that had managed to keep at bay Hitler's greed, and was therefore a national hero was elected emperor, as Guisan I der Schreckliche (the terrible).

While developing new arms and expanding the army, with the help of many foreign scientist that had taken refuge in Switzerland, Guisan in 1948 anschlussed Lichtenstein without any opposition.

At the same time, Switzerland had longed since a long time for  an access to the sea, and, as Italy was still reeling from the war and for many years unable to form a strong government  and without exterior help, the USA having gone back  to their isolationism immediately after the war's end, swiss strategists started planning to lengthen the Ticino canton, in order to obtain the famous "Rapallo corridor" and an easier access to the riviera for their vacations.
As any self-respecting power, first thing in their list of wishes was an aircraft carrier, and being rationals and level-headed, wanted to be ready for the big moment. Therefore, when the invasion of Italy was still in the early planning stages, prepared a special carrier version of their licence-built Hawker Hunter, and converted one of the paddle-wheels ferry boats on the Bodensee to a training carrier.....

I was sure I had an ancient Airfix Hunter in store, but couldn't find it, thought that maybe it was in France, but NOT.
So I had to buy another at the Mons Model Show.

Actually, cuckoo clocks are thought to have been invented in the Black Forest area in southwestern Germany, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuckoo_clock. According to an apocryphal story, it is thought that a family in a remote small village in that area over decades perfected the concept and came to dominate the early market, jealously guarding their trade secrets. The family name is long lost to history, but lore has it that locally they became known as the Kuckucksuhrenklan, or cuckoo clocks clan...

Now where did I put my coat...
