As moderator, i'd like to point out that in Whiffworld it can be whatever number Gondor wants it to be.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

After mulling through my head how I am going to takle this build I have come to the conclusion that it will take a very long time for me to make the conversion so I am withdrawing this build from the Group Build. If someone could kindly move this to aircraft it would be helpfull. I do have another Canberra based aircraft that I can build which is less involved and will be replaceing this build.

Moved as per request

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Now as a fan of the B57 i dont mind at all what Allister has in mind and  in fact its gonna be bloody cool  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Alastair is thinking of maybe makeing a balsa blank and heat forming the cockpit area.

When I saw the title I thought that it had to be a whif off the "Forbidden Planet" ship.
The Leng Plateau is lovely this time of year

In the modern world a B-57 adapted to cargo would be a CB-57.

I think that together with the -also British designed - Gloster Meteor the Canberra has had the most weird and different styles and appearances. Longer noses, bulbous and pointy noses, longer and shorter wings, pilot seating arrangements, styles of canopies, engines, from very pretty to extremely ugly. But all of them fantastically nice. Hope to see something great growing out of this build!
