Last week I attended Smallspace 4 at Hanslope village, taking along just my what-if items as there was some cross over. Especially commissioned for the show I also had this 1/144 complete resin what-if kit of the DARPA Space Cruiser. This was a proposed deniable weapon developed from the 1970s Early Spring project. Designed to be carried inside the Space Shuttle bay (up to three at a time), this small manned craft would inspect and destroy Soviet spy or weapon satellites that posed a threat to the USA. The kit is very small, measuring less than 6cm, consisting of just five parts. Suggested paint finish is overall black with a gold canopy, no decals (its deniable, so don't put stars and bars on it!). I have a small quantity left, these are on the website now.

Thanks, Colin

I saw the "built up" example at small space. Its tiny! but it has plenty of detail on it.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Sounds like basis of a Tom Clancy novel.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Or a sequel to Larry Bond's Lash-Up.  BTW, I can recommend it as a good read, he's done his homework and it rings true.

That 2nd link comes up as The Who's 'Don't get fooled again'. Well, the bass part anyway. Not that I'm complaining, it's just not what I was expecting.  ;D

And in the first link, the STAR, wouldn't it have done better on re-entry coming in blunt end first?

LOL - I was sending that Who video to a YT reactor who'd just done the full video, that's why it was on my clipboard. Lord knows how it ended up being the one copied to here though...

Anyway, here's the right link, and I'll fix the OP as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIJAT-R_JX8

I've watched th vidoes, they are both excellent, though the launch from the submarine does look a bit problematical.  Great visuals in both, though.
