Just wondering the reason for using Airfix booms and not Academy?

The academy props from the OV-10 were used for another project. So the only props I had were the once on the airfix kit. Unfortunately the props from the airfix kit were, due to it's fit in the tailbooms, not a fit for the academy tailbooms and the airfix booms required only a smalll adjustment to fit the academy wings. So, the airfix booms were used..

Oh, ok - makes perfect sense. I was just curious. 

I had the thought that when I eventually make my version, to extend the shaft behind the prop, like the Pucara, to indicate a slightly different engine - maybe something more powerful, without having to modify or enlarge the cowlings... just a thought.

Anyway, will watch this with interest.
