This figure i painted for a mate of mine yrs ago ,,since i was able to crack open my old hard drive i came across these pics ,,thought you blokes might want to see em .
The figure is the Verlinden Soldier 2000 ( i think it was called ) and it was given to me to build and paint and thats when i came across the fact that most of the weapon was missing and the helmet sucked with its peaked nose ....so i had to build the gun ...not hard really ...and modify the helmet cause it was just terrible .
Cut the nose off and the reshaped it  and now it looked much better ,,,the paint job is just what i could think off which wasnt the norm when it comes to military camo .
The base is just crap i could find ,..broken bits of plaster chucked in and even some use as walls ,,the shell cases are 35th scale German 37mm AA and look quite close to .50 cal so they stayed and the rest is just painting and washing ,,,kinda wouldnt mind doing another figure in 16th scale ..something different .

Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

This is the kind of thing that makes me wish I wasn't so crap at figures.  Splendid work!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Thanks mate  ;D ..but notice there's no flesh ..dude I can't paint flesh to save any damn thing and if I paint another figure or can find one I like ...it's not gonna have any skin showing  ;D
