Ah, OK, excellent choice, mate.  Only the Monogram kit is better.  The old Hasegawa one is OK but looking a bit old now.

The Monogram kit is way better, but as said, this was already built, so..  ;)
I have a Monogram version in the StashTM, but I haven't decided what to do with that yet. As things stand currently, I think it will be Canadian, but that might change, as things do..
I would also love to build another Matchbox one, but as a recce bird.

In order to please Kit, you'll need to increase the wingspan, you realise?

And then there's the Valom Voodoos, of which I've got three. They look good enough in the box, but I havn't built any of them so I can't comment on fit.

They seem to have no locating pins, which can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how well they're done. There are numerous boxings, but judging by my three (two RF-101As and an F-101A) they all have the same injection-moulded parts with both camera-nose and radar-nose parts in every one. They also have a bag of resin parts and a small photo-etch fret. The F-101A has an extra injection sprue for a Mk.7 tac nuke with it's own decal sheet. The clear sprues have both one-piece (closed) and split (open) canopies.

Early Vallom kits are a nightmare, the more recent ones are not bad at all, still take some work but not to much. They have definitely improved their quality as they've grown.

Oddly I have a pair of Hase RF-101Cs in The Loft, the double kit with the Sun Run decals.

I was thinking that they looked a bit under-winged...........  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Well, you're not the only one, KItt - IIRC one of the nicknames for that aircraft was "the flying prostitute - she's got no visible means of support."
'Course, they said that of the Martin Marauder, too ...  :)

And they solved it by .................(wait for it.......) FITTING LONGER WINGS!  ;D  ;D  ;D

Give it F-4 wings and some tuning, and you get a nice "missing link" whif.  ;)

Captain Canada

Very nice ! I love me a good Voodoo. Used to see them all the time as a kid, gorgeous, fast, and loud ! Nice read as well. Makes sense to me ! I'm sure all of us Voodoo fans have dreamt of a modernized bird.
