For some reason Red Tops REALLY work with a Crusader.  :thumbsup:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Very plausible. :thumbsup:  I'm not a fan of US Navy grey/white scheme and, I think the Royal Navy scheme compliments this handsome aircraft very well. On a related note, I have a couple of Airfix F4-D1 Skyray kits which I intend to build as R N birds. Rather than the D S G/white scheme though, I prefer the earlier DSG/Sky colours. One of them will be a P R aircraft so, I'm going to see if the RF-35 Draken nose from the Heller kit might fit.
