This is my rendition of a Marine corps F-16. Upgraded to the hilt and built to fight anything anywhere, the obvious decision was to use the Kinetic F-16 SUFA for the job. The only thing I am not reet happy about is the IFR probe, so that could get changed soon. Apart from the XL this is the only version of the F-16 that floats my boat, so had to make one for my marines task force.

If you cant eat it hump it or fight it,
Pee on it and walk away!!

Try a Mirage F1 AAR probe on there Chris, a lot less ungainly I think.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

I am tempted to put a modified Skyhawk IFR probe on it coming out of the front of the right CFT, that should look better

Looks good!! Looking like it's right at home with the Corp.

Looks the business, but I can't help but wonder what on earth did the designer of that IFR probe think. It looks like the part was bent on the sprue.

Then again, the uglier a Marine bird is, the more intimidating it will be, so maybe it fits after all ;D

chrisonord

The ifr probe is my fault, and it's bent due to being in storage. I am going to treat it to a new one

A green and grey F-16D with big spine, CFT and hauling GBU.24s: still my beating heart
Whatever.

Chris, you could try using a probe from an early Tornado or A-7
"Mind that bus." "What bus?" *SPLAT!*

That would work too, just finding one is the thing though.
Cheers,
