That's the fuel filler cap. Twin tanks under the front seats.

Dizzyfugu

No, it's the plug for the second fuel tank (under the driver's seat!).

No doubt you are correct, but I still have a somewhat surreal mental image of two "traditionally built" Breton ladies in full regional dress including lace headgear  winding up a huge clockwork  key in their vehicle in order to get to market.

See here for  headgear pix. :-    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=breton+ladies+haedgear&tbm=isch&hl=en&chips=q:breton+ladies+headwear,online_chips:traditional+headdress:Ukura79l9nQ%3D,online_chips:concarneau+brittany:ZV7GoxmTguM%3D&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj2r-m707j_AhVCp0wKHeblBqUQ4lYoAHoECAEQKw&biw=1519&bih=746

Of course, it's why they have the roll-back roof!  To fit the hats in the car!

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Carlos have you ever tried doing a Holden car before? Let me know if you've any ideas for the proposal I've made.

The gull wing Dauphine coupe is pretty cool. Perhaps not practical but certainly cool.

Rick Lowe

Looks very Mercedes 300 - so yeah, not something you'd find easy to get into and out of in a short skirt (no, not personal experience as I don't have the legs to carry that look off  ;D ).

Dizzyfugu

You might add a propeller under the tail and convert it into an amphicar coupé with these doors?

Rick Lowe

Ooh, ooh! Or you could put it onto the Aquacar - or even the Aquada; the one with the folding wheels!

Or not, as that might be just a little too silly, even for here!  ;D
