IPMS Avon show 2023

This Sunday (6th August) is the IPMS Avon show. (AKA Kit's local/nearest show)

location: Thornbury Leisure Centre, Alveston Hill, Thornbury,
South Gloucestershire, BS35 3JB

Set up starts at 7am, and doors open to the public at 9:30am

Entry fee is £5 for Adults. £2.50 for under 16's

The SIG has got space booked and paid for (thanks to those who have donated into the stand fee kitty). There are also a few whrist bands available for those who arrive during set up.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

It IS local to me, yes. I can almost SEE the venue on the other side of the Severn!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Badgers!  :banghead:    sorry guys no can do, Mrs SP has a craft fair, and has already prebooked the table, and me to chauffeur and packhorse.
 i will however send a e-mail to my youngest brother to let him know.

I may have a conflict of interests here that day, so I might have to leave early. :(

I seem to recall the Avon crew frown on people doing that, but it's either that or I'll be there as a spectator only.

My conflict has been changed in the SIG's favour so I'll be there.  ;D

I may have to divide my time between the SIG stand and the CPAC stand, but we Whiffers thrive on multi-tasking, don't we?  ;)

My apologies for absence.    Events have got in my way again.  Madame R is taking evensong at 3.00 pm in a church in North Herefordshire and after her first hip replacement I'm her driver  to these services.   There  isn't really time for me to get to the event, enjoy it, and get back again to be her chauffeur.   Take lots of pictures, enjoy it on my behalf  and keep the flag of Whiffery flying high!
