What if Martin Baker persevered with making aircraft, but in a purpose built factory, big enough to build them and an airfield to test fly them. Here is my Martin Baker MB-11 T, T is for turbine. The aircraft was designed from the off as a low cost reliable military aircraft for developing countries, and also as a trainer/weapons training version. The later models included the companies own ejector seat, as the few customers of the earlier versions asked gor them as a customer option. The aircraft were supplied with 6 under wing pylons, the 2 inside ones being plumbed for drop tanks. No guns were fitted to yhe aircraft in the factory, but external attachment points, for various weapons were fitted, and internal storage in the wings for amunition. This version is the 3rd and final version of the MB-11 T, in service with the Uranium mining consortium defence force, during operation Saladin. Armament consists of 2 20mm cannon, 2 cluster munitions, 4 200 pound bombs, and 2 rocket pods, this was vertually on the aircrafts, weight limit, and needed a good run up to get it airborne. Kit is the Hobbyboss F-84, with all the other bits from the spares boxes.

Effectively an F-84G with a prop Chris?

I LIKE it!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Yes, and a tail sitting turbo prop at that.

A very interesting idea and build. Gotta love the camo pattern.
Reminds me of the Piper Enforcer. That was a turbo prop Mustang. The early version had a RR Dart but the last one had the engine from a Chinook IIRC.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Cheers, I have a thing for small to medium sized turbo prop planes used for close air support or C.O.I.N work, and where this one is in service, it would suit the job perfectly.

Gorgeous!    Must have taken a few weights to get that tail down, I built one a while back and it isn't normally a tailsitter, far from it in fact!

I put several used airgun pellets in there  snd could have done with more really, as it is only just tail heavy now.

I do like a old jet turned into a prop plane ..the straight wings fit the bill nicely for the right look 👌 😋
Very very cool Chris 😀
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Thankyou, they certainly suit a propeller stuck on them.

A while back ivwas having a idea about a prop driven jet thingy but with variable swept wings ..the problem was finding a suitable bird for the jobbie at hand ...the search continues.

That sounds a difficult one for sure.
