Built as an answer to the royal navy  and army needing to upgrade their helicopter fleet, Bristol took 4 of their Sycamore helicopters, and completly revamped them and changed the engine for a turbo shaft engine. These engines revolutionised helicopters and as well as making them more more powerful, it made them a lot more reliable and safer to operate, thus making them the perfect choice for the navy. Two each were sent to the army and the navy, and the air force were interested too so another two sycamores were built as new, and sent to the RAF for evaluation.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
