Ooooh dear, I didn't think it was that short. :(

I hope there'll be another one next year.

Just under two weeks to go before this GB closes, everyone - don't forget there's no extension.

Expect the vote to be set up during the first week in December.

Sorry I didn't manage to contribute to this in it's inaugural year, especially since I'm a big supporter of it. Life and mojo issues mostly, I'm afraid.
Plenty of candidates though, so next year it will definitely be on the schedule.

There's no way that I can finish in time, they are staying on the unfinished shelf.

If there should be another Shelf Queen GB, would projects declared for this one be eligible for Shelf Queen GB II?

GOOD question!  :thumbsup:

If not some of this year's declared candidates could lie on the Shelf of Doom for EVER! :(

I have a cunning plan for recycling some of them.

As a non-participant, & assuming that this is going to be an annual event (as was posited way back when), might I suggest either a 12-month or a 24-month moratorium on re-entry of a previously declared build (that is declared, not necessarily worked on).

This will have the benefits of;
a.) making people think twice before declaring a build before they're actually ready to commence working on it again, &
b.) making it even more embarrassing when they re-declare it, now having had at least two years to finish it in.

I was just thinking about if there will be a FIGB2 next year. To allow time for possible discussion I was going to suggest starting 1 Jan 2025 and running through end of December 2025. Also since myself and others were a bit surprised it ended in November it would line up better with folks expectations. I'm sure I was aware of the start and finish times back in last November but forgot and assumed it was 1 Jan to 31 Dec. Speaking just for myself.
Rolling builds from one FIGB into the next I had not thought about. Perhaps a request for folks to enter things they really plan to finish compared to repeatedly entering the same stuff. Just my tuppence.
