This kit was bought completely without thinking of what Ian going to do with it. Anyhow, back story is, captured and taken to the U.K by the Department of Axis Aquisitions, and flown back to England escorted by 2 RAF spitfires, just to prevent it being shot down by allied aircraft. Another 2 aircraft were found and transported back in pieces to the UK, along with several different engines for the said aircraft. The aircraft was used for several years testing different equipment at high altitude, and at one point it tested prototype photo reccon pods. The kit hasn't been too bad a build to be honest, I am just dragging my backside finishing the paint.

I had a couple of niggles with this but nothing some sanding and putty couldn't solve, I just need to get it finished now.

It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Finally finished, sort of. I need to have a look at the landing gear, as they need straightening. This is another captured aircraft by the ministry of Axis acquisitions. The aircraft and lots of spare parts invkuding several different engines was taken baxk to the U.K. for evaluation, and then went on to be a testbed for numerous high altitude  equipment and experiments. The engines that came with it, were all different and had varying performance characteristics, except for that ate its crankshaft when powering on for take off, and completely obliterated the rest of that engine. The aircraft also carried out the testing of new cameras, and had been sent "abroad" on numerous occasions. As with everything in the late 40's early 50's, the jet age caught up with the BV .155, and it was left to rot on an airfield that soon got shut down. Nobody knows what happened to the aircraft, but some of its test pilots said it performed admirably at very high altitude, and was very stable.

Damn nice work Chris  ;D  ;D
Now if someone would do the work a favour and build one in 48th scale and didnt charge a arm and a leg id be a happy camper
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I enjoyed that kit when I built it.

Cheers fellas, I struggled with this as the matt aluminium paint stayed tacky for weeks, in the end I just thought, stuff it , and put the gloss clear coat on, and thankfully, that cured. I think another could be acquired when I have moved and be made into a photo recon bird.
