The Bf-109 Project - Bf-109S


Bf-109S. Project for a two seat trainer based on the Bf-109E. Around 1940.


Bf-109S. Project for a Bf-109 with so called blown flaps. Large intake under the fuselage to draw in the air to blow across the trailing edge of the wing over the flaps.
One airframe was modified by the Caudron factory in France in 1944 as a non flying trial.
The fuselage was modified with a plug behind the cockpit to house all the necessary equipment.

Your dedication to the wiffy 109 family is awesome Tom 👌
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
