IBG Centaur MK 1. Sort of.

This is the 1/72nd scale IBG, Centaur mk1 kit, bought by mistake, but thought of a use for it. This vehicle is another ww2 relic kept out of retirement by subtle and rediculous means. The most obvious one was made to it during the 1970's when the Rarden 30 mm cannons became available, so the vehicle had a pair fitted to it to make it into quite a formidable, if not a bit slow, infantry support vehicle. The crew if 2 was kept quite busy, as the gunner had to reload the guns himself due to the lack of room in the turret, fortunately during any of the skirmishes it was involved in it didn't have to fire very much before the insurgents retreated, as the guns destroyed just about everything they were fired at. I only put a bit of the included P.E. on as I really can't be doing with it, next will be a suitable paint scheme for it, mostly consisting of desert, or dark yellow.

I'd also have suggested an Arabian operator, like the Charioteer (Jordania?). Austria would also be an option, even though the only paint schemeoption would be all-over RAL 7013...

Finished this off this afternoon between rendering a wall and cleaning most of said render up off the dust sheet.

Thankyou, I had painted it before I moved house, and it was in the same storage box as the FAA crusader, and has been skulking around the work bench for the last week or so. It just needed the tracks painting, and weathering and some oil paint grubbyness added to the hull and turret.
