1/48 EE Lightning from 308 Sqn

English Electric Lightning in 1/48 from Airfix is finished.
It was build thanks to the profile made by one of my friends. When I saw his Lightning in markings of the 308th "Cracow" Fighter Squadron, I decided that I want to have one.
The set is an old Airfix combined with a pitot from MASTER and an seat from AIRES. The pilot comes from Plusmodel, the casting is amazing. Decals are a combination of those from the kit, letters and checkerboards from Techmod and division emblems from ModelMaker.
Painting and weathering as usual: Tamiya, AK-Interactive, Mr. Hobby, AMMO... and grass from NOCH :)

Wow. One of my favourite aeroplanes. looks so right in those colours. Great job on the paint and weathering !

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
