This may be madness, but I'm going to try and complete two aircraft in a week. In this case it's Arii's Mitsubishi Ki-15-II "Babs" which, if Scalemates is to be believed, first appeared in the 70's! You wouldn't think so looking at all the finely scribed lines, though a few hints of flash here and there are apparent. Anyway, having started the Seiran, I had a pair of honking great floats begging to used and looking lonely in the box. Step forward the ubiquitous Babs to gain a new pair of boots. Whilst they may be hilariously oversized, I'm hoping with a little repositioning they will look like they belong. Wish me luck.

Any way, one box pic.

If the floats are too big, you could use only ONE as a central float with outriggers and save the other for another build.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

That kit builds up OK.  You'll do all right with it.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I wouldn't worry about the floats. Many times they end up being too small on whiffs so bigger is better. This looks pretty interesting, carry on!

I recall the floats the late Robert used on his Lancaster floatplane, they were about the size of a Wellington's fuselage!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
