Thanks everyone, much appreciated. I started this one  in March possibly April, and has been very slowly chipped away at. It has in a way rekindled my fondness for all things mirage and Kfir, so watch this space.

Very nicely done, Chris!  Kfirs are one of my favourite jets, up there with EE Lightnings, Mirage F1s, and MiG-21s with the original small spine.  I haven't yet done any surgery to one, having simply co-opted one for the Royal Scottish Airforce.

Where am I going?  And why am I in a handbasket?

Cheers,
I am quite fond of the mirage F1, and all the other mirage variants too, and have done a few different Mig 21's too.

As a Mirage lover myself, l  it! The  camo, the svelte nose, the modern ordnance, even the rear shifted afterburner can (a counter measure mod to the IR missile threat, l assume - very Israeli).

Mirage hacks forever!
Whatever.

Cheers I am currently building a very modified PM Nesher, and the Heller mirage 3/5,  both of which have chucked some challenges at me, oh and I have started building my special hobby iiiCJ, nice looking in the box, plenty of detail, but the fit with some of the parts can be a bit challenging, especially all the extra parts that make up the fuselage. If anyone has the special hobby mirage 3 CJ kit, be very very careful with the intakes, as they are stupidly thin and fragile. I broke one in a place I really didn't expect to, whilst holding it on to let the glue set.

I like this whiff! It looks cool with the new and improved J-79 nozzle.

BTW, Honduras is in Central America, no biggie.
