The last two images show up various flaws in my painting technique(s) BUT, as he's only 75mm (3") tall & no-one is ever going to see him that close-up, I don't care! ;D
Mate it could be perfect and you'll find a problem with it 😆
We are all the same there ...least we ain't JMNs bud
I still reckon it's epic 😎
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

That is a most impressive piece of work............and I can't see the flaws you say are there!

You could almost be right, Phill. ;)

I like to strive for perfection, I don't expect to ever get there* but it's the striving that counts. ;D

And thanks, again!

I've just had the incredible experience of having my wife walk in & ask "Why is there a knight on the bookcase?"

To which I replied, "It's Christmas, that's Santa!"

I then received a confused look & she walked away.

Man, I LOVE being weird! ;D  ;D  ;D

That's the best Santa I've seen in a long time!
A diorama of Santa laying a smack down on that old devil Krampus. And rescuing a bunch of children while at it.

Great work on a figure that scale, really like the beard and face work, which sets the subject along with the colour choices.

Love it

Quote from: zenrat on November 19, 2024, 02:55:44 AMWhen you said "large figure" I was thinking around 1/6 scale.  This is what, about 1/25?

Fred, 75mm = 1/24, apparently.

No, I don't think so. ;)

Just make the Yule Cat a panther and paint it black. Easy peasy.

That's come out really well mate. White is a very difficult "colour" to use.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
