A C-130 in what looked like pretty light grey colour. Swedish is my first guess but it could be other.
... followed after a while by a Pilatus PC-12.
... followed after a while by a F/A-18C (or D?)

edit:
oh... there was also a Swedish Gulfstream that looked a little lumpy.

A  Spitfire, common around my 'country home' area as it's right under the flight path from Sywell to Duxford, but an unknown Mark as it was too high. But it sounded more Merlin than Griffon.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
