Scooter suggested that I move over here with my recently started Greenland Snowtractor as this one is definitely polar. And is set in the alternate universe of a Greenland independence.

To summarize what has been done, I will use this little Polish kit of a PzKpw III, where I will only use the tracks and chassis:

As this were only three parts, construction was quite quick here

And now the fun part begins. Designing the Snow Tractor in 3D. So this is a first idea: Cabin and engine in the front, a little outside cargo area in the back. Have to work on this now to get the dimensions right and see if it fits to the chassis.

After the initial idea, the 3D model was enhanced:

- Prepare the backward space for the outside platform
- Add some places where cooling and ventilation for the engine(s) will be added.
- Round the edges of the cabin
- Add a wooden loading platform on the roof (will later be printed separately for easier painting)
- Add the engine compartment

This is how it looks in 3D:

And I could not wait to make a test print with the FDM printer. The final model will be made with the resin printer, but this goes faster to make test prints. So I can see if and how it does fir on the chassis.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

More 3D print use in a build.. like it
