The wires for cheap ear phones work well and come in black.

Quote from: PR19_Kit on December 20, 2024, 05:24:07 AMOn the Monterey beaching trolly I used stripped electrical wiring, which worked fine, but the actuators didn't move on that so I just Evo-Stuck them in place. This launcher is a different kettle of fish though as the main actuators swivel around 30 degrees or so.

But the saving grace is any hose connections would be almost invisible underneath the main arm of the launcher.  ;D
Oh I like the way you think matey 😉 😊
A great way to get a great result 👏 👍

Ken's dead right ...those cheap head phones have a braided looking wire in em and it ..strangely looks like braided wire 😄

Anything they were prepared to offer me  ;D

Actually I was always a left back (sometimes in the changing room  ;) ) No 3 at football for school and county, and opening bowler and last man in for cricket at school, No 11.

I was never one for team games, despite playing out on the wing for my college rugby team on occasion.  I was a cross country runner when I was young and daft, and enjoyed playing squash until I was nearly 60.   Over 35, squash players are classed as veterans.  My club decided that as a player over  50 I counted as an idiot.

To get back to Kit's Christmas project, the Navaho...ho...ho...I'm looking forward to seeing the completed device!

My dad once made the mistake of trying squash with a superball. Let's just say it didn't go well.

I was banned from playing rugby at school as even at age 11 I was almost 6' tall. During my 2nd or 3rd game my form master shouted from the sidelines 'Put your head down and RUN Spackman!' so I did........

.....straight into one of the posts, snapping it off short with the ground and putting myself in hospital with severe concussion. Which could explain many things of course. When they checked my health records and found I was severely asthmatic they banned me from all games that required physical exertion.  ;D

I was a mean wicket keeper at cricket though, I always had the longest arms in the team.  ;D

As Mike Rheged says, back to the Navaho.........

I'm still undecided to whether partially Whiff it with an 'in service' SAC NM scheme, or an 'all white' RAF scheme, or maybe REALLY whiff it and add a cockpit for an intrepid pilot.

What say the committee?

I was a reasonable cross country runner in the winter, daft enough to represent the school anyway. I still hold the school and Borough 880 yards record, probably because they went to 800 metres a couple of years after I left
