Well, hello again...   :mellow:
After a fellow modeller contacted me regarding the pics of a Portuguese F-5, i thought it was my other PoAF F-5F and didn't remember this... It's one of my earliest builds when i got back in the hobby and also one of my earliest posted on this forum, almost ten years ago... It was also one of the "victims" of Photobucket's decision to end its free image hosting service so, i'm uploading a few photos i just took of the model for anyone who drops in here to take a look. The original ones were even worse than these so these will be an upgrade.
The early years of shelf display out on the dust are showing but a bit of a scrub gave it a fresher look so, here you have the Portuguese Tiger, the F-5PM on it's 10th anniversary...

This also reminds me i have quite a few of these planned and the kits waiting in the stash...   :mellow:

Looks good! What kit was that? It appears to be 1/72nd scale.

It's the Hobby Boss 1/72 F-5E kit. It's ok, i think it's very similar to the Italeri 1/72 kit (maybe a copy? :unsure: ) but with engraved panel lines, although these are almost Matchbox trench type of lines.
The kit is cheap and i've bought a couple more after i built this one for a future project.

I've never liked the F.5, no idea why. It's possibly that ultra long nose, just erks me  :-\

Chris, i guess you see the F-5 as i see the F-104... ;D To my eyes, the Starfighter is exactly what think a fighter jet shouldn't look like. More like a rocket with a man inside it...  ;)
