this is an old one of mine.  Royal Navy reserve operated Hawk 200N.
Cross kitted from the matchbox 200 and an italeri T-45.

I always hope for the best.

experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Very handsome. B)

Great idea to help fill up a CVF, if one is ever produced. Hawks and Tornados. I wonder if White Ensign makes Hawks in their Airstrike 700s?

Sorry, forgot to sign in. That was me appreciating your Hawk.

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

SWEET!!  I had an idea for a USN and Canadian A-45 that was similar.

Speaking of Hawks, I was at the Selfridge airshow today and saw a Canadian trainer Hawk painted up dark blue.  Looked really sweet, and was one of the more interesting aircraft at the show.  I got a few pics of it I'll put on the web eventually.

I gotta rant about the show real quick.  It was definately a "B" show for Selfridge.  I've been to their "A" shows, and this one was bad.  Almost as bad as the one in the mid-90's when neither the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels performed.  We had the Blue Angels today, and they're sorta "eh" compared to the Thunderbirds.  Plus we had the "B-team" parajumpers from the USAF Academy (the A-list US Army Golden Knights and the Thunderbirds were at Andrews AFB in Maryland today).  The static display sucked (almost no active duty aircraft), and the B-2 flyover was before most people were even there.  Just glad I volunteered at my company's tent so I wasn't completely bored.  I was glad the show came back, but this one was rushed (Blue Angels had to reschedule for this date) and what is usually a good show in the middle of summer was a pretty bland show this time around.

Anyhow, back to the Hawk.  Good job!

Excellent one, Martin.  I've been playing with a similar concept myself.  To go with it, perhaps a Hawk100/T-45C cross for "Fast FAC" duty?

Gorgeous little Hawk Martin.

Me likee
Without getting into Shetland Pony territory I'm getting real fond of Hawk 200's, beefy little f****rs that mean business like SkyHawks or Bob Hoskins, and any RN bird is sexy.
Question though where are you guys getting all your Royal Navy decals? Kits of RN jets are far and few between around here and I don't wanna rob those that I have of the decals. I've got a few RN ideas but can't seem to find decals anywhere.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid
