Yea, I know it's not a USN or KMS, but it will be a warship. I found the plans in an old Airfix mag, March 1973 and decided to up-scale it to 1/87th. My mistake, all model figures are 1/72, anyhow the hull is in fibreglass with the decks in E/green card. I marked the deck lines in pen, so you could see that it's not just a white blob.
Long time project and the Trojan wars will be well over and done with, before it's finished!

As Uncle Jed would say: "wheeew doggie!"

That should be some project...but I bet the end result is going to be pretty cool...

BTW - flipping through old Airfix mags can be very relaxing and sometimes inspiring
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

There is a legend that a Roman trireme managed to cross the Atlantic and wrecked off Brasil. Imagine if it had ended up farther north, into Incan, Mayan, or Aztec territory.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

As in Clive Cussler's "Treasure"?
