I've seen it once, in summer upper level offices, but there's a art book out collecting the work of the gentleman who was GD"s artist for years and it goes into some detail on the evolution of the F-16 design.  I wish the employees' club still sold it but, as best I know, it's OOP.

Anybody got the drawings or data on the LTV VFX design from the late 60's as a competitor to the F-14 ?

There are 4 photographs of the Vought V-507/VFX-1 scale 1 wood-model of 1968 in the book "Les avions Vought" by Bernard Millot, Lariviere publications, pages 434-435. A kind of F-14 with air intakes like Mirages . No complete data nor 3-view drawing .
I am not sure about the Copyright , but I may send them to you Thor by mail .

Yep Thors seen those pics    I think he's after 3 views or at the very least dimentions to work from.

In "Les avions Vought" (Lariviere pub.) is one of these pictures and 3 others, but all on the ground, not from above, and without dimensions, sorry.
Though, one of the extra pictures gives the scale somehow, with a ground crew, I post here part of it, just to show. Measuring yourself kneeling down, using the profile photograph from the Web above, you will know the aircraft height & length...

The text does not explain much, just mention accute sweeping of the wings, and a huge price (but the selected one, Grumman Tomcat, was even more expensive)...
