IMHO, X-35/F-35 wings would be the way to go, there, although F-22 wings might work.

I bet you're right.  For this computer-edited image, are these not simply the actual wings from one pic mated to the fuselage of a Hornet from another photo?

Eddie, these days, with the lack of a noticeable airfoil shape on the wings of modern jets, you could probably glue two flat, very thin flap "halves" together with a thin styrene strip sandwiched at the leading edge to thicken it and, voila----done like last night's dinner!  Just a super-thin wedge, by the looks of it (i.e. I'm NOT giving up my 1:48 Hustler...oh wait, I don't have one!).

Man, this bird looks so doable, eh?  And I just picked up the fantastic new Revell Hornet....
