The Great Eastern

Back in the 1970's, Revell made this rather large model. The Great Eastern is a massive model at 1/350th scale and has a hull length of 22.25 inches. This is after 10 days work, with the deck and hull done, and some of the masts finished off. Peter saw it yesterday, after almost 'creaming his jeans' over the Thermopylae. He said, "that would make a nice Christmas present!" and I answered, "but not this Christmas!"
