I like it, thanks!
while it is not new at all - I know it for 15 years now... and with the central fuselage holding kinda tailplanes, I count there something as 3 tail-tubes ^_^
Welcome anyway :)

Never mind the model, what about the real deal?

If you are asking about news update, I do not know and I cannot predict the Russian budget...
About history: the Su 80 project was revealed in 1989, then in 1990 came the S-80M bigger project, still with twin-booms to have a rear door free from tail support. This was a tandem wing plane.
Then the rear wing was cut just in 2 little supports, linking central fuselage and booms. That is the one PolluxD7 showed us.
At least one copy was made.
It is far bigger than a Bronco: 23m span & 16m long (compared to 12m & 13m), standing between an Arava and a Packet.

Below is a "more twin-boom" than triplex-boom version of mine...

Yes, civil airliner? We will see...  ^_^
It would be nice to see twin-boom airliners, at last... :)

Actually, Sukhoï is now almost thinking about the civil version of this plane... It's easier to find foreign help (Rockwell) and customers (coast guard, fish aeras patrol, transport, "bizjet", airliner) with a civil programme than a military one... Moreover in Russia ;)

But Sukhoï still think about the military versions, with transport, black ops, CAS and COIN missions... Sukhoï hopes some customers in South America and South East Asia, or even in Africa...

That's pretty cool, alright !

Why are they loading a Yank jeep, tho ?
