They come 2 to a box in 1/144.

What am I gonna do with them?

Oh...not much...

Well, I lifted the design from the game "Luft Krieg", which is a suppliment to the Dream Pod 9 game called Gear Krieg.  Here's the only other picture (So far).  I intend to take some libertires with the design, but I'll be retaining the triple boom design.

It looks like a beast doesn't it?  The center wing section has me worried as I hadn't fancied making one from scrath, but I may not have a choice if I keep that bit true to the design.

* Thanks a lot for the explanation. I conclude that it came from dreamers like us, not from Grumman engineers of the 1940s. Right?
* Thanks for the view from above, I have used it to complete my twin-boom F5F-6 derivative, at http://www.whatifmodelers.com/forum//index...200&#entry97378
* Maybe it would have been simpler to build the F5F-5 at 1:48, as there is already a F5F basis, no?

I actually have that kit already, but I'm saving it for a Blackhawks decal job and custom Blackhawk Heroclix figure.  Plus, I'm converting to 1/144 in general across the board except for a few projects, so I figured I'd give it a shot and see what I get.  :)

As to who made the Twincat, yes, it was made up by folks like us over at Dream Pod 9.  They have some very nifty stuff in their Gear Krieg game.  They are at www.dp9.com

I've seen that Sweet 1/144 Wildcat built up and it is miniscule

Good luck kitbashing with it in that scale!  I admire your courage!
