The Wooksta!

My BAe testbed.  The serial, XR227, was on Jennings decal sheet.  Along with XR220, '227 was to be a weapons test bed.  This late version of '227 carries ALARMs on the outer pylons and Storm Shadow test rounds on the inners.

Looks great Wooksta. I got the Airfix GR4 1/48 scale kit the other day and the Storm Shadows in it are very tempting. It would look good to do one of those BAeS test Eagles in partial repaint mode, say with primered tail and replacement panels.

Ah!  This one's in the October 2007 Fine Scale Modeller, although it's tucked awy at the back of the photo of the TSR2 SIG display.
