Hello,

I was in search of an nearly completed Fouga Magister. I opened one of my "ISOMO" boxes (sorry don't now the English description for this and I didn't want to say fish boxes) and found some started projects. Most of them will make it into my silver fleet. I decide to put these on a separate page on my web site.

http://users.pandora.be/filsoft/What%20If/...f/projecten.htm

So far I have started these:

1/72nd

2* PM Sea Furies (both single & two seat) (will end up with Belgian markings)
1* Matchbox Spitfire (will end up with Belgian markings)
1* Matchbox Harrier (US Marines (silver))
1* PM aircraft trolley (now where's that flying wing model to?) (will end up with Belgian markings)

1/144th
2* Dragon F-117's
2* Revell F-35 (will end up with Belgian markings, off course)
2* Revel Lightning's (one already in Saudi markings)
1* Revel AV-8B Harrier

More are expected to be discovered.

Greetings,

FilipFr

Nice stuff Filip! Now, if you want something else in Belgian markings, you would make about half of us happy if you included a CF-100!  ^_^

Cool!
Does that Dragon F-117 have a bomb bay? Or are the doors just panel lines?
And is the fuselage bottom faceted or flat?

ffrbel

Hello,

The Dragon F-117 has an internal bomb bay. But I did close the bomb bay, the bomb doors do fit nicely and the bombs are to be used in other projects (I was thinking of converting them to rocket propelled missiles).

I don't exactly know what you mean with faceted undersides (I never looked under a real one) but for me the underside is looks pretty flat.

You can see that the leading edge of the wing isn't at the same angle as the rest of the fuselage. It isn't much, but IMO it should be visible on a model. The Revell 1:144 kit gets this wrong.

Hello,

I see what you mean. This evening I'll have a look at the models.

ffrbel

Hello,

I've had a look at the model and the underside isn't flat. I see the effect like in the picture but in 1/144th scale it's very small.
