After remembering which end of a brush was which, I got round to slapping some colour on my Co-axial Apache.  Came out a bit more lim-ey than I expected (I was going for a funky Scandinavian look), but considering I haven't painted anything in 8 years, and this is a teeny little model, it's not that bad, I think.

Yes, the painting is nice (according to my standards at least), and the twin-rotor Apache is weird
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

What scale is that?  It looks like something that would make your eyes and fingers ache with its tinyness.

 looks hotwheels-scale or smaller

Cool, it slices, it dices, it chops, even purees....but best of all it flys :)

Kinda cool with all those blades. I am always drawn to unusual paint schemes.

Love the lime green! Very tropical! This is gonna be one cool whirlybird!

I'll take mine with a twist,

Looking good dude  B) ...can't wait to see her complete!

*INSPIRATION ALERT* I challenge someone to take a Ka-50 Hokum and an Apache and throw em together....

Thanks for the replies...

This is one of those models-for-kiddies Revel things, at about 1/170-something scale, or something odd like that.  There are actually quite a few kits which offer some whif possibilities.  The lime-ness resulted from using Citadel paints (I find acrylics much easier to work with).  Apparently it's "snot green".

As for the KApache - there isn't a Hokum kit in this range, although there is a combo set with Mi-28 and AH-64.  Just wait untill I find the Hindenburg kit...or several. He he he.  Now, where to find 1/500+ scale interwar aircraft?
