Well, there she is, engines on, and undercoated. The engines are from a Beaufighter, (actually, a fraction too long, but I haven't noticed) and the canopy and nose sent off to be vac-formed.
Now, as to the camo....................this has caused a problem. I couldn't find one bit of info on colour camo........so, I'm doing her in Dk Green/Dk Green Grey. The only photo I could find that showed it in a two tone scheme was A-72 with it's lighter colour underneath. Then the decals.................oh, why do we build obscure models? I know, 'cause we want to!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That's really beautiful Glenn! I think you've got it right with that camo choice too! As for decals, you can get away with using Greek roundels in place of Argentinian ones. The rudder stripes usually cover the entire rudder, blue-white-blue horizontally, with a yellow sun in the middle of the white stripe, that is if you're going for accuracy. This is gonna be a real eye-catcher when complete!

I had to go look up what a Calquin actually is... but still, a sexy model. And we all love esoteric airplanes! Well, I know I do!

Look up laahs.com for Calquin pics.

Greek roundels are too dark.  The correct upper colour is a fairly dark green, and something close to RLM blue. My own Calqiun was based on a super-rare vacform.   Drop me a line, I can send you Argie decals and put you in touch with a good friend in Buenos Aires who has shedloads of info.
