wHOOOO, ITS COMING!

Had an email from Models 2U today stating that hte moulds have been approved and the kit goes into production as of Jan 9th (today!)

Estimated arrival time in the UK is 20th Feb, still over a month away but at least production has actually begun.

Hooray!

Y'know, I was just talking to my LHS owner and I said "I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed back til March"....well, considering I live on the other side of the world from Airfix HQ it's not THAT far from the truth.

Still, great news Waynos, thankyou so much!

Radish

Now then, will there be a real production run, or will history be repeated and socialist devils be responsible for the destruction of all manufacturing capacity??
Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

Guess I better hope the Easter Bunny brings me some decals, probably just as likely to happen as seeing the kit before the end of summer.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

QuoteYou try assembling a plastic kit on the bus/train with no glue or tools and then tell me I'm losing it!
I once made a Monogram 1:72 B-26 Marauder on a trip to see Dad at work, two hours away!

Admittedly it was a Snap-Tite.... <_<

As my preferred modus operandii for ordering models is HLJ, a Japan only release of another version would suit me just fine.... :)
