Lana is going to attempt a build I gave up on - converting Heller's little 1:72 Bf108 to a Nord 1002 Lycoming-powered bird currently operating in NZ in grey/green mottle and a yellow tail and nose.



Excellent.


That's right - she's gonna do a horiontally opposed engine FROM SCRATCH!

This will be her next project after the Corsair. Stay tuned!

Zac,

If she's going to scracthbuild the engine, any material is fair game.  I suggest she look at some of the smaller nylon screws or bolts as a ready material for the cylinders.

Tell Lana good luck from me Zac mate. It seems Lana is becoming quite the modeller which impresses the hell out of me. You're going to have a hell of a time keeping up with her mate.
