Very very nice! I love the look of it!

Air Force, eh? Why not a civil bird along the lines of your Auster Antarctic? Qantas perhaps?

Glenn

This is the last time you'll see this boat, for a While, at lEaST! Still haven't worked out a colour scheme as yet, but with a gun mounting in the rear, Zac, I don't think she'll be QANTAS! With the wing in place, you should be abLe to think of 'whAt it looks like'. By for Now anD-Hope you worked out the fInal clue. tiLL next time.
Glenn

No, I didn't go mad with the 'cap lock'

I got it! I got it! It's *BANG*

We apologise for the interruption. Zac will return as soon as he learns to keep his mouth shut. Now back to your regularly scheduled installment of "What To Do...when your Workstation is a No Go Zone!"

Well, minus a scheme and a country, my Westland Hill Pterodactyl Mk. XI flying boat, is finished! With the canopy, I had so much trouble finding something close, I settled for rod, cut and shaped to look like a canopy (minus the glass, add later with Photoshop)
Now, who would buy something as cute as this? Denmark, Norway, Ireland?
Glenn

NARSES2

Glen that's tremendous, looks a bit like a Supermarine design - maybe they licenced the Pterodactyl design ?

Users RAF Coastal Command, Norway, Sweden, that country north of the US - what's it called ???  :P France, Greece

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I had an idea what it was as soon as you posted pics of the whole wing, you didn't disappoint. Marvellous!

I think that's something the Danes and Swedes would definately go for! It has a kind of "nordic-design/Ikea" look to it. Excellent build there Glenn! I stand in awe of your scratchbuilding skill! If you want glass for the canopy, try cutting some out of blisterpacks from batteries. I find this stuff makes great canopy material!

P.S. I have Danish markings I can spare if you need them.

Maaaaarvelous! I love it Glenn, what a masterpiece!

Oh wowo Glenn, that is awsome. Fantastic build. Definately a winner with any country that's got a coastline.  As to who'd buy one..well I would and without hesitation as well.

Brian, yea...she'd look nice in Danish markings, what kind of camo do you think?
And to save it from having the poo-poo bombed out of it, in 1940, she could be stationed in Iceland...............yea, I like that!

Hmmm well typical Danish W.W. II camo was olive drab and a light green with light gray undersurfaces. However, I'd be tempted to do something like light sea gray and bright green myself. Can't wait to see how she looks painted/decaled!
