Dynavector 1/48th Scale Build.

Very nicely done I feel. Some good suggestions as well.

Wow! Nice, and a REALLY useful tip as well!

Quoth the Bondo...

"The open speedbrakes add busy-ness to large expanses of white airframe. First, a slab of epoxy putty was laid into the fuselage interior (insulated from the vac'ed plastic by a sheet of Cling-Wrap). When cured, this conformal piece was then removed and the areas under the speedbrakes was filed off flat to give depth to the wells"

What a GREAT idea...I've flailed about filling in open spaces by test fitting sheet strene or sometimes heat smashed shapes...but using Cling-Wrap as a barrier to make a mold? Ingenious! :P

*Chuckle* That sounds very similar to the procedure we use on our birds for form=in=place gaskets.

Did you check out the avionics racks? What an amazing job! I'd love to see that model in person!

Very nice. Doesn't look as good as alot of his other stuff....but maybe that's because it's not NMF !

Cool way to reproduce a museum bird, tho....a very neat idea.
