To get back on track is this still a go? And are we starting on April 1st? I know it was gonna run concurrent with TSR.2 but god knows when we'll see those.
So as I see it Secret Santa ends Feb 21st and then there's a six week gap before this one starts?
Do we want to bump it forward a month or shall I plan on seeing if I can build my Gladiator in the gap.

Perhaps I can reschedule the "This Kit Sucks!" vacform GB to start Feb 22 and run for three months?

I for one definitely want in on the AIrfix GB, and I'd like to be in TSR.2 as well.

I'm in for the Airfix GB here. I picked up three today. I'm contemplating crosskitting a Me-109 and an Avro 504. It seems this place has afflicted me to the point where I can no longer build anything without whiffing it.

Funny, where I come from, whiffing is a synonym for failure, as in striking out at whiffle ball.

Your missus has read my mind (note to self: think only pure thoughts). It's odd, but some basic test fitting shows that the horizontal stabs are practically interchangeable between the two kits.

Now to come up with camo and markings...

Ask Wooksta, I believe he's the instigator. Alternatively, trawl through this thread and there should be at least a suggestion of when. I can't wait either.

Right then someone's gotta take the build by the horns seeing as this idea has been languishing around here for about six months now, and it's just too good to let fall between the cracks. So seeing as I won the last two competitions around here I'm more than willing to give back to the community. I'll organise it, set the rules and provide a prize.
The only tweak I was thinking of as far as rules go was the time frame, as Lee mentioned before we can make this a quick one and it seems we have a window before Airfix give us the TSR.2. Probably a four monther between March and July.
I'll PM Lee and let him know I'm willing to do this. I've been excited about this one for a while so I'm definately gonna build for it so all it takes is someone else to join me and we have ourselves a group build.
