What do you think? Does it have potential? :) I've a vague idea of how I want it to look, but I wanted to see what you guys thought. ^_^

 Nice! Very funny and uncommon...
Historians have recorded biplane projects of Wildcat and Hurricane, and you are completing the set of Western fighters of the 1930s hesitating between 2 Worlds...

PS. What is the meaning of the code P-40SP? S for what? BiPlane would have been BP like British Petroleum thus forbidden trademark?
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Looks good Eddie.
I'll keep my eye on this one.
Hope to see more progress next week.

As a alternative idea, whynot "Unlimited-ize" a stock P-40E or, base a Reno racer off the Q model?

SP= special performance. I "borrowed" that designation from Boeing. I thought that a biplane would be able to corner better, but this bad boy might end up being  a stunt plane like B777LR suggested. :)

I absolutely love it Eddie! This one is a real prize winner! All it needs are spats!

I love spats!

Eddie, I love your builds even more...

Yes oh yes!!!

It's funny I was looking at a Hurricane I've got and thinking the same thing.

I have to agree with the gooberman and keep the shark mouth.

Gorgeous Eddie. It's definately justified for continuance.

Hey, Spatman, I'm doing a P-38 as an air-racer, sanded smooth and I'm going to see if I can crash mould a streamlined canopy too. If I was going to fit a fixed, low-profile gear with spats (saves weight on a retracting mechanism, that's my reasoning anyway!) what's the best way to make them?

Cheers :)

P.S. loving the biplane P-40! Finish it in sky blue overall with white stripes. Mmmm.    ^_^
