Haven't you found something interesting? or is this posted elsewhere?

That's a good question Tophe, I must have filed it somewhere. I'll dig around in my laptop and see where I put it.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

At https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=47190.0  our dear Captain Canada started a great Twin-F-105, and I imagine a similar Mirage 5, thanks!

The old P-51D's canopy being so cute, that inspired a Mirage 5 derivative: <_<

I have found an unknown sub-species of Mirage 5: <_<

The Mirage 5 was not an interceptor and required no radar in the nose, that explains the shape of some derivatives' nose: <_<

The Atar turbojet power seemed so huge, designers thought there was no need of aerodynamics maybe. After the prototype crash they changed their way. :-\

On the opposite, one single Mirage 5 had a very VERY big radar in the nose: :-\

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

hehehe, you are right: if I had seen this film I could have called my fake aircraft Mirano de Bergerac... ;D

Thanks!

And do you know the Mirages 5 that were inspired by the Vought Cutlass?:  ;D

There was a weird Mirage 5 with twin cockpit and two jets that flew from the airport of MyDream City: ;)

This Mirage was not a true life one for giant and dwarf pilots but the dream of a fantasist modeller: ;)
