"nacelle avant" would have been "front pod" on the export version, if ever this one had been mass produced... :-\ ;D

Competitors joked: "NA mean Not Available/Not Applicable!"... :-\ ;D

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks!

On the opposite, at low speed for landing, the Mirage was much worse than the new Concorde star, so Dassault designers changed the nose and canopy, but this could not be built without copyright alas: <_<

The Mirage 5SP was the first mass produced supersonic sesquiplane, ever!: <_<

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Tophe

Thanks!

And that makes me feel so glad, I am telling you a secret: we all know that a delta wing is awful for take-off and landing, what was the reason for the very good performances of Mirage 3/5/2000 in this field? In "fact", they had a square wing, not even swept at all, but part of it was transparent to look like delta: <_<

A long time before the Sukhoi-27 with Variable Geometry Nozzle, Dassault explored this device: <_<

The French judge concluded "the YF-16 then all the F-16s are illegal copies of the Mirage 5YF and 5F-16, zillions dollars penalty should be paid to Dassault!". But the American judge concluded: "there is no relation between the F-16 and delta Mitages, Dassault should pay $1 million for false accusation!". The issue is not solved yet... ;D

After your mini-Typhoon/Gerfaut look-alike, those are Griffon-alikes!  ;D

Thanks Kit!: I have checked and you are very right: these Mirages 5F-16 and 5YF both came from the canard Mirage 500, low cost proposal after the Nord 1500 Griffon II (the 500 having a cheap/reliable turbojet while the 1500 had an expensive/fragile turboramjet): <_<

There was a Mirage with Short Nose for Dwarf Pilot ans another one Enlarged with Short Nose: <_<

This is inspired by the 2-seat Mirage F1 of PR19_Kit in the Navy GB, so beautiful with the front cockpit moved towards the nose.

The top one looks like a delta winged TSR2!

Yes, thanks!
And below is a Mirage that was inspired by the Douglas DC-10, but it was not built as Douglas required an unfriendly big Copyright:  :-\ <_<
