QuoteHave any pics, profiles or drawings of these or other models?
I'll see if I can find anything. The company's pretty bad when it comes to marketing material specific to a customer, so, there's probably not too much available.

The info I have on the Venezuelan and Jordan a/c are actual engineering drawings so I can't post them here. When I get a chance, I'll take a look at the drawings again and see if the patterns match any of the camo Black Hawks currently in service. If they do, I can let ya know what pattern to use, where to substitute the colors and the location of the insignia.

When the Jordan a/c come off the line, I'll see if I can get a copy of any PR photos, should any be taken.
Spends too much time researching rather than building...

Heres a few profiles I've done, sorry about the size, photobucket hates me.

First up,the Canadian S-70A Maplehawk. This was to be a dedicated SAR model to replace the CH-113 Labradors. It resembled the MH-60K Nighthawk, with a few modifications. The AgustaWestland AW-520 Merlin was chosen as the winner.

Next is a Belgian example. The colors are from the Sea Kings they operate. They ordered some NH-90s to replace these with, but the Blackhawk looks nice in Belgian colors.

Here we have an S-70A from Norway, again,in the colors of the SAR equipped Sea King Mk.43s.

Finally, here is an S-70A from the German Army. These would have been used to replace the tired old UH-1Ds,instead NH-90s were chosen.

Heres one I just finished. This one was just for fun.

Backstory: Late in the early 21st century, the Umbrella Corp. emerges as a major international player in a number of markets including pharmaceuticals, medical hardware, defense, and computers along with more clandestine operations utilizing genetic engineering and bioweaponry.A subsidiary of Umbrella operates as a private military company. This division of the corporation maintains a highly trained security force capable of rescue, reconnaissance, and para-military operations. Complementing this security force is an air wing, which maintains a fleet of AV-8B Harriers, C-130H Hercules, CH-53E Super Stallions,CH-3E Jolly Green Giants, Hughes AH-6J "Little Bird" attack helicopters, and other military-grade craft. The corporation utilizes these resources in order to secure and protect its assets, as well as its high profile employees. In an bid to replace some of the older helicopters, including Bell 212s,the Umbrella Corp. bought some Sikorsky S-70 Blackhawks. These are mainly used as transports for elite security details and SWAT/Rescue teams.Shortly after the T-Virus epidemic in Raccon City, some of the S-70s were configured as AUH-60s under the guise of "Project Nemesis" with radar,FLIR and provisions for weapons. These included the 7.62mm miniguns,.50cal machine guns,Hydra 70mm unguided rockets and AGM-114 Hellfires to escort the unarmed transport models and to act as close air support to the guys on the ground.

I did one of those for Canada-rama here a few years back, but I used the naval HH-60H airframe for mine, will see if I can find some pics... like the Belgian profile BTW

Thanks, those were pretty much experiments, just to see how they'd look. And I like the results.I also done a Finnish model, but that one needs a little work before I put it up on here.Thinking of doing some RAF models, maybe an all yellow SAR model and one with the Green/grey camo like on the Lynx and Chinook.Might even attempt, the key word being attempt a Rasberry Ripple WS-70.By the way, anyone got a decent side profile of the Seahawk or S-65/S-80?

Heres a few more I was able to throw together tonight. First is the RAF's Nighthawk HAR.Mk2.These were supplyed as part of the S-70 being built by Westland. These made the perfect short/medium range SAR helo to go with the longer ranged Merlin. This is a domestic SAR model, however others recieved CSAR/Special Ops roles and saw action over Iraq,Afghanistan and Indonesia.

Next is a South African AF S-70.These were supplyed by Westland as a WS-70.These help replace some of the older Oryxs and later, some were modified as gunships.

Finally,a Finnish S-70,bought to replace the Mi-8s.

Now try it. You'll get a page admonishing you for hotlinking, but it will have the link on that page to the image of the S-80.

The UH-1 Iroquois spawned the AH-1 Cobra.  What if something similar happened with the UH-60 series?

FYI, it's Black Hawk, two words. Blackhawk is the S-67.

These are probbley my all time favorite helicopters, well, right next to the Mi-24 Hind. The thread on RAF S-65s got me to thinking. What countries would or might have been interested in these choppers? Starting with the S-70 Blackhawk/Seahawk.This chopper was designed as a replacement for the legendary UH-1 Huey,so the number of possible customers should be pretty high.Heres what I came up with.First the real world stuff.

1.Germany-Looked at getting some S-70s to replace the old UH-1Ds,but decided to keep the Hueys until the NH-90 came online.I personally think the S-70B Seahawk would have looked good in the navy camo, like the Lynx.

2.Canada-Canada looked at a specialized rescue model known as the Maplehawk to replace the CH-113s,this contract going to the AW520.Still,the Yellow SAR scheme would have looked great. The Maplehawk, from what I saw of the model, resembled the MH-60K.Next,the Canadian Navy looked at the S-70B to replace its Sea Kings.

3.Spain-The Spanish Army looked at replacing its UH-1Hs eith some S-70s,before deciding to go with Bell 212 Twin Hueys.

4.Switzerland-The Swiss AF looked at buying some S-70s,before going with the Super Puma.

5.Finland,Sweden and Norway-The S-70 was part of the Nordic Standard Helicopter Programme evaluation. This was mainly for utility choppers, but naval units were to also be ordered. In the end,the NH-90 was selected.

6.Venezuela-Ordered,but cancelled when they decided to go with the current Mi-17.

Now a few I'd like to see

6.Jordan-I know they have 1 or 2 for VIP,but that 3 tone camo, like on the F-5s,AH-1s and Mirages would look great on the S-70.

7.Greece-Maybe a Greek AF or Army model in a european one type camo.

8.New Zealand-Believed they wanted some to replace the Hueys, could be wrong though.Still,a European one S-70 would look nice.Maybe a Seahawk too to replace the SH-2Gs with.

9.United Kingdom-Both the Seahawk and Blackhawk would look great in RAF/RA/RN markings.Too bad they didn't buy some of those Westland WS-70s.

10.Mexico-Sure,they have S-70s,but a Mexican Seahawk in the blue and yellow would look nice.

Ok,enough for now, have to think up soem more.Tell me if you guys see some possibilities for this and I'll add some.
