Mike, great stuff, absolutely marvelous and with a great eye for detail. I almost spiled my beer over the screen when seeing the "clean me" in the back.  :lol: Fortunately it was only almost.

Wonderful! The only thing missing is the oil leaks from the engine and rust patches on the wing. Well worth the wait.

Hilarious and delightful; it also encourages thoughts of other combinations of airplanes and cars of the same or very similar names, the Buick/Grumman Wildcat for example or the Triumph/Supermarine Spitfire.

The first thing that I thought of after seeing the finished project is "where is Wallace and Grommet?"  It looks like something that would be appropriate for them to cruise about in.

Gorgeous bit of work, though based on my experience with a slightly later Ford-UK product (1971 Capri 1600), there's not enough rust showing.
