The Rat

Another superb offering Alvis! I'm sure many of us have thought about the phrase 'missile with a man in it' that way, I know I have, but you've set the standard again.

Now, howabout an Iraqi scud with Mig-25 wings?  ^_^

Simply beautiful Alvis.  As the real Espadon illustrates, you've really captured the French pre-Mirage "look."  I think I like this one the best of your recent spy series.

Great job again.  Let's see...  We know how the US handled the need for high altitude and high speed recce. You've given us the USSR, UK, and French approaches.  What's next from you?  Swedish?, or Japanese?

I'm ready to start on one of Canada's contributions to this mission series.

Excellent ! :D

Oddly enough, this weekend I was wondering if you could squeeze a pilot into a D-21 drone...... you've given me the inspiration to give it a try

It should be an easy fit for a smaller statured pilot...no 6'2" blonde adonisises!
Landing gear, on the other hand, may be a tad harder to cram in, and still have room for fuel, engine, controls, payload, oxygen...etc etc...Unless of course you solce that by having it retreived in mid air as well as launched there too....
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Dork the kit slayer

Got to like it......................I thought up an RAF recce bird using a "Snark".... using a small cockpit to make it about the size of an RB 47.........but couldnt find the kit. Pipped at the post again :(  :(  :(

Never mind......really nice build

Freakin' fantastic Alvis! Like all your builds it follows the Shep Paine makim: "If it looks right, it IS right." Excellent stuff!

Not sure how I'd missed this but it's stuning - one question though isn't that squadron marking Belgian ? Seem to remember it's on a sheet I have for Belgian Hurricanes, CR 42's and Gladaitors ? I've used it on my Renard
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Alvis 3.1

It may be one of those cross national markings you see from time to time...
This came from a 1/72 Migare III Recon plane...apparently it's a winged axe...I think
By the way...much thanks to Tophe for the Ogre idea. Lacking knowledge on French folklore, I went to him for some ideas...which fit perfectly
