ive seen on theyre facebook page that they are releasing a 1/72 Top Gun set, with Maverick's F-14A and Jester/Viper's A-4 Skyhawk

... and young Kelly Mcgillis?

The line forms behind me, folks - in fact, nope - not sharing.

Any chance I can get my hands on Mavericks Kawasaki GPz900R instead ?

All yours, mate. Prefer the two-legged to the two-wheeled, myself.

Back then maybe --- nowadays ---- hmm!

True - but then we were talking about the younger version. Besides, I was a bit prettier in those days myself... for a given value of... ;D

I asked over at ARC - the site I trust for US-related subject advice - how accurate the decals look and the answers were not positive. Apparently other aftermarket sheets do it better.

You mean to say they don't take your breath away?

1/72 Junkers JU-86 E-1/E-2

Oh!  lovely memories

I built one of those as a Small Thing, I had lusted after it for months on the shelf of the local Toy Master store and lo! it appeared in my Christmas sack.

That along with the Airfix Bv 141 and Bf 109E ( a Boys' Brigade prize! ) constituted my Luftwaffe element.

zenrat

The Portuguese scheme looks good.

Looks like a former Italian aircraft, due to the paint scheme and colors?

NARSES2

It's certainly an interesting re-boxing
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Italeri 2019 new additions (or carry overs from the last couple of years  :banghead:) mostly re-pops from Italeri & Esci plus it appears Fujimi as there is a Phantom FG1, SH-3 Sea Kings, Mig-21 and F-86 included but not listed as new tools.

There is a new 1/72 model and a 1/35th model but these are still flagged as secret

And, err, alleged Mexican decal options for the F-14A kit #1414.  Possible WHIF in a box but I suspect not :)

I'd like to grab a few Goshawks. Been awhile since I've built one of those !

The Italian markings are just as suspicious...  :o If these are supposed to be Iranian roundels, the colors are reversed?!

The 1:72 early Harrier is nice, wonder if it's a new mold? The same goes for the MiG-21.

Nope the AV-8A is the Esci kit, sister to the Sea Harrier FRS1 and Harrier GR3.

according to scalemates, the Mig-21 is a rebox of the zvezda kit.

The 1/12 Alfa Romeo could tempt me into building a bigger scale car than usual.  It'll depend on the quality of the wire wheels.
